This is the 2nd book in the series you need to read Just an Illusion A-side first to understand this book.

OMG!!!! D. Kelly this book has kept me scrolling through like I was chasing an addiction, Now you have me craving more like an addict.

This book is packed with so many feelings so buckle up and be ready for an emotional ride.

A couple of years later and Amelia is trying to finish her story about her, Noah's, Sawyer's and the rest of The BAD men's lives, not what the public see but their real lives. So you get gaps filled in leading up to the present day.
Amelia has a deadline to make a decision but who has set the ultimatum?

Which Weston brother is it Noah or Sawyer?

Well it looks like we are going to have to wait for Just an Illusion E.P to come out

I’m not sure my heart can take this crazy, wonderful, intense roller coaster ride. Who am I kidding, I’m loving every emotion filled moment. It’s wonderful to see Mel come out of her darkness and embrace this new family she has found. The love she has with Noah is intense and all consuming, something I don’t think she felt she deserved. Of course, the lives of musicians isn’t an easy one so as we get to experience all the highs, there are also a lot of lows along the way. You truly have to just dive into this series and experience all of the crazy, intense and exciting moments. You won’t be disappointed.

So I really was not ready for this one to end!! And I definitely wasn’t ready for that cliffhanger damn!! Turned into a blubbering mess whilst at work my co-workers think I’m nuts 🙈 (I work nights and list to audiobooks to help keep me awake)

We continue to see Noah and Mels relationship grow in this story as well as her relationship with sawyer and the other guys in the band! And let’s not forget the rest of the family!

I seriously was not ready for this ending so much so that I was annoyed at myself for not downloading the third book before starting work so I could continue on their journey.

Just an Illusion - The B Side was just spectacular. It's hard to believe that D. Kelly could top my love of book one with a second installation of this series, yet she does! In Just an Illusion - The B Side, readers pick up right where they left off with the members of Bastard and Dangerous (B.A.D.) and Mel. It's been a short amount of time and yet Mel is a much valued part of the BAD team. She's found love but at what cost? Will the tensions with Noah and Sawyer drive a wedge between the brothers, and ultimately the band that there is no coming back from? Read on to find out.

As I mentioned in my review for Just an Illusion - The A Side, D. Kelly is without question a phenomenal author. She writes exceptionally well. She delivers characters that you'll be utterly captivated by and outright head-over-heels in love with. Then, as if that wasn't enough, even if you don't initially approve of Mel's choice in hero's, you will also find yourself understanding the choices she makes... and dare I say, even agreeing with Mel's choices. The angst is greater in Just an Illusion - The B Side. I refuse to post spoilers, so I can't say why, but if you can read this story without going through a few tissues, you're definitely one of the few. As each book progresses, I think to myself that the each book can't get better then the previous, yet as only authors with exceptional talent can do, they are! D. Kelly's talent becomes more and more obvious as readers travel side by side through this rocky and dangerous love story with Mel, Noah and Sawyer. Much like when I read The A Side, I could not put down Just an Illusion - The B Side. I have always heard that the middle book in a series is the hardest book to write...I don't know if that's true, but I can tell you that there is nothing awkward or stilted about this second installment of the series. I am not sure there is even any way to make it better then it currently is because it's already a five star read!

It is not a standalone, and readers absolutely must read book one before picking up Just an Illusion - The B Side. Without question, the Just an Illusion series is one of my all time favorite series of books. The emotional attachment I formed to the characters and the story was infinitely strong and I literally let no time at all pass between the books. Pick up the Just an Illusion series and get started now. You won't regret it

Emotionally, I am now a blubbering mess. I did not see this coming.

There is so much love between Noah and Amelia and the Weston family. Noah and Sawyer have such a close bond being twins but their bond to Amelia is equally strong. Amelia loves Noah with all her heart and is thrilled when he proposes. Belle is now settling with the initial shock of pregnancy over!

I spoiled the ending of this story by reading ahead! Please don't do that to yourself! Enjoy each surprise as it happens because you cannot read about these wonderful characters knowing what is ahead. I'M SERIOUS.

Dee Kelly has written us a gem and I recommend it strongly for all those rock fans out there.
