Nick left Earth to make some money after his family had everything taken away from them. He decided to go to Vitaie. For five years they have been looking for Candeo. He has signed up for an indeterminate amount of time and because of doing so he gets a mail order bride. His Mail order bride is Nova who is running from things on Earth. Somehow these two lives have intertwined with eachother even once Nick knows the truth. This is definitely a very interesting book and I recommend it

Really good book I started and could not put it down. Nova runs from her old live to one she hopes will be better . What she does not know is the man she is to become his wife to hates her family. What happens ?
I hope that there will be more books to come in a series for this mining planet and the mail order brides that have come to make it their home.

Nova thought getting as far from Earth as possible was the only solution to all her problems. After the shuttle landed, they were to find their new husbands out of the crowd of men. Nick recognized Nova from news from Earth. He told Nova weeks after she had arrived that her family was the cause of his family losing their land. HEA does happen eventually.

So utterly original, incredibly surreal but lots of what we've come to expect (and adore) with a Frankie Love read... alpha mountain man thats been hibernating for too long; feisty, head strong, virgin mail-order bride; lots of chemistry, angst and great banter... the difference... yep we're in SPACE! I was a little apprehensive reading "Explored by the Mountain Man" because Sci-Fi novels don't do it for me. However I have to admit I kind of loved it...
Nova runs from her old life escaping her family's crimes, bad reputation but most importantly Nova wants to become her own person. What she does not know is the man she is to become his wife to hates her family...
Nova's husband is Nick Hugh whom, unbeknowst to her has been a victim of Nora's family shady deals and exploitation.
Once he sets her on eyes on her he knows... but she is absolutely mesmerising...
The chemistry is off the charts... the tension is off the charts... the land is off the charts... yep, its a great read = off the charts!
What a great twist on a mountain man theme. Wonderfully done and definitely the opportunity to hopefully see more from some of the other men in space.
