This is a good read. Ashlynn and Carson are interesting characters. Ashlynn is down to earth girl. She's a couples counselor. Even though she spends her dates given advise for dating life is a mess. Carson might just be the one to help her. He's sex therapist. He's sweet, hot and nice. He and Ashlynn have great chemistry. Both have something in their past that they are keeping secret. I was surprise about what each had kept secret. I kind of expected a little more of a reaction form the characters when the truths come out but overall it was a good read.

Such a sweet and emotional story. There characters lives have been destroyed by pain leaving them thinking they will ever find happiness again. Instant chemistry draws them together and takes them on a journey of finding love for themselves and for each other. The writing will draw you in and keep you hooked throughout the book. I love the sassy personalities these characters have it adds some humor to this emotional read. I finished this book in one sitting and definitely recommend it for anyone who loves a happily ever after.

A sweet and emotional story. Carter and Ashlynn were great characters. Both have been through a lot and they find solace in each other's arms. Ashlynn has been hiding a huge secret for most of her life and has let it affect her life greatly. She's never been able to give 100% to anyone intimately because of her past. Carter is the first person she trusts with her past. It was a case of immediate lust, turned friends to lovers. I loved the characters and their story was very emotional and relatable. I definitely recommend this book.

I have been waiting forever for something new from Ms. Decker. I was thrilled to jump into Carson and Ashlynn's story. There is a darker undertone to the story as to what Ashlynn's problem is, but it really worked with the story. I felt like this was a quick read and there were a lot of things that could have gone into more detail which I would have liked. I felt like their relationship moved very quickly for what each of them was putting into it. It was a good read and I look forward to the next MC Decker book.
