The Reality of Wright and Wrong Kindle Edition
What do you do when you catch your fiancé grinding on another woman? Well, if you’re me, you run off with a sexy, ink-covered tattoo artist who goes by the name Wrong.
Then you marry him after a week.
This isn’t a story of love at first sight—love didn’t come into play until after I had ruined it all. It’s the reality of what is right and what is wrong when it comes to soulmates.

About the author
Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped. She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.
She is now a mother of three girls. The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. And to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

Mercy was having the worst day of her life. She was standing on the sidewalk with mascara teardrops running down her face. Her heart was broken and so shattered that she thought it would never be able to be pieced back together. She had just seen her fiance dancing or rather grinding on another woman. She thought her day could not get any worse, when a homeless man stepped in front of her. He wanted a cigarette, but she didn't smoke. Then he asked for money, and she thought her life was about to be ended. Then a voice from behind her told “Joe” to back away from the lady. And so he did and disappeared.
She turned around and met the stare of the most beautiful man to have ever walked the earth. He was metro yet edgy. Preppy with a heavy dose of badness. A dangerous combination of right and wrong. He was like her white knight and when he offered his help, without much reservation, she left with him. She really felt like she would go anywhere with him. The only thing that mattered was that she was leaving her now ex-fiance Jordan behind at the Rulebreakers Club with his dance partner.
Everything about that night seemed rehearsed. Planned. Orchestrated as if the universe had controlled the strings to make all this happen. Divine intervention. Their connection was relentless from the start. But to get to a Happy Ending, you know you have to travel some really rocky roads, and climb some high mountains. People will try to stand in your way. The past will surface to block your course. And no matter what, don't assume a roadblock means it's the end of the road. It might be there to detour you. It might be there to test you. After all, nothing in life comes easy. “Save Me and Have me, Fix Me and I'm Yours!”
What we have here is a guy who believes in fate and soulmates.
Characters:
Mercy Wright
Brogan Daniels
Overall:
These characters moved way too quickly. I needed more time to catch up. This certainly was an unconventional way to begin a short term relationship considering the circumstances that landed them together. I couldn’t find the connection I needed to stick with them.
I have to be fair to myself and Leddy by admitting that this story didn’t work for me. I didn’t like this one. She’s still a talented writer. This book didn’t suit my needs. It fell short in the emotional department. I kind of knew from the title and cover that I was going to struggle with this book. There’s an interesting premise behind the meet and greet, but beyond that I got hung up on the doubts and fears. Most of that came with the insta-connection. I’m skeptical of impulsive decisions. That there lies the problem with this story. Mercy went from careful to careless in a nano second of time.
The more Mercy vocalized her fears and doubts unfortunately the more I questioned her character.
The secondary character Stella, which I might add is the same name used for the writing duo Steph and Leddy, shared a banter that reminded me of those two ladies. While I love Leddy’s humor, sarcasm, and wit I wasn’t loving the dynamics between Stella and Mercy.
I struggled with Brogan talking about Mercy as if they knew each other longer than a few days. He had this fated destiny fantasy in his mind that I couldn’t get behind.
This was a sexually driven story where sex and physical appearance were the first two things that drove them together.
Once I got over my initial shock of this unconventional relationship moving too fast I realized no matter how much time you spend with someone you don’t truly know them. Every circumstance in life is dealt with accordingly and how that person reacts is an unknown reaction. “Do you even know anything about this boy? I know enough. The rest will come with time—just like with any other relationship”. This is absolutely true. I can’t dispute this statement.
Normally by now I’d be glued to Leddy’s words. Unfortunately, this book and these characters aren’t grabbing my attention.
You win some you lose some. This was a lose some moment. I can’t expect to like every book written. She hasn’t lost me as a fan. I remain hopeful and optimistic that her next book will be a 5stars.

The Reality of Wright and Wrong is a beautiful story about soulmates. Their love is so pure and complex, so clear and yet indescribable. The unadulterated, raw, inexplicable feelings between the main characters Mercy and Brogan from their first encounter are met with struggles of external and internal factors throughout the book and create a suspenseful storyline with ups and downs.
If it were up to me, I’d add a few more stars just to make a point. Amazing writer and unique plot - loved it!
This is the first time I've read this author & I doubt it will be my last.
Brogan aka Wrong is a self made tattoo artist who shows up when Mercy's life has been turned upside down & all her plans had been thrown to hell.
Was it fate, destiny, coincidence or just right place at the right time, who knows for sure. But the pull between them can not be denied no matter how much you try to find reason. But can he withstand her doubts, can she get over her what ifs & assumed guilt, can she stop running long enough for him to catch her??
