Colton appears to have it all with a successful football career, wealth and any woman he wants however there is one thing missing. His family has turned their backs on him so he decides the way to finally move past the hurt and pain is to expose his perception of who they really are to the public.

Ana has a past that she would like to forget so she is starting over and wants to be a success as publishing agent and Colton’s expose is just what she needs for her career to take off.

What should be a straight forward business transaction evolves into an explosion of heat and feelings but when he finds out she is related to his family by marriage is his desire for revenge stronger than his feelings for her?

The chemistry between Colton and Ana is hot, their banter humorous and the suspense and twists keep you guessing which makes this a great addition to the series.

Colton Evans has never felt like he truly belonged. The word 'family' connotes pain, anger & fear to him. Carrying the excess baggage of a past he's constantly kept in the forefront of his brain, he's looking for revenge. Bent on making others hurt the way he does, he doesn't care who is in his path until he meets Anastasia 'Ana" Lexington.

Ana needs a break. One so big that her family can finally see that she's independent and successful enough on her own. Signing Colt would be the answer to her prayers. His highly-anticipated tell-all is just what she needs to jump-start her career. Problem is, the person she's counting on to help her stick it to her family may actually help her destroy it.

This was a great read. I could feel each emotion intensely as though I were a part of the story itself. Colt & Ana's chemistry was off-the-walls hot and electric. The revenge/drama side of it was well-crafted, too, ensuring that I stuck around for more than just what promised to be an epic culmination to a forbidden attraction. There was also a sense of rightness and satisfaction as Ana & Colt's characters grew and matured.

This is my first book by Natalie Wrye, but it won't be the last. Definitely get a copy of this book!

This is Book 3 in the Revenge series written by an author with a very distinctive writing style. Natalie Wrye has made me fall in love with romance and intrigue. It’s the thrill of the chase, the snappy dialogue, the larger than life and complicated plot lines that cause me heart palpitations and a knitted brow. I have yet to figure it all out before the jaw dropping reveal in any of these books. Both the story and characters remain unpredictable.

Colton is a successful football player with the world in the palm of his hands and a big axe to grind with his family members. Ana is running from her recent past and a relationship that went bust. She’s starting all over in a new city, determined to make it as a publishing agent. This brings her and Colton in each other’s path with both their pasts and presents threatening to derail their futures.

How do I describe Colton and Ana’s relationship? It’s a it of a cat and mouse game, with Colton doing a lot of chasing. Colton and Ana are both complicated characters with pasts they would just as soon keep secret. I have to mention that the chemistry between hot and cocky Colton and sassy Anna’s is off the Richter scale and super 🔥🔥hot with a capital H. I found myself wishing the book slowed down and allowed the reader to see the relationship developing and the pair falling in love. I wanted to see more of Colton’s deeper side as he gained Ana’s trust and won her heart. Ana also had a complicated relationship with her sisters that I wanted to excavate and linger a bit longer while getting to know her. I love Ana’s snarkiness and sarcasm that made me LOL 😝 It’s wickedly irreverent.

Warning, hang on tight the pace of the book is fast and furious but it gives you a great conclusion and satisfying epilogue. Enjoy the ride!

Pretty much six stars! Interesting situations began in the middle of it and some action from it left pending which shows how intriguing this book can be. Expect to see the consequences that came from being famous and lots of suspected secrets from both characters. Very emotional book with tons of the same feelings making reappearances. My fave parts were when he always stopped from going further in his adavnces. Nothing in this book seemed forced And I can't believe this is one of the few stories where I really am fond of the sass in the female character. End is super intriguing as they reassess their lives. I was not surprised with the scene of him showing up (after the game) on Christmas' day. And I also was expecting his firing...in the end!
