Ford was Ellie's first love, and then he left and broke her heart. 10 years later, their lifes cross paths again. Ellie wants nothing to do with him, but Ford will do anything to have her again.

Swear is a beautifully written second chance story, that tugs on your heartstrings. Ford and Ellie are such great, strong characters, and you can feel the love between them. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow, and overcome Ellie's fears of him leaving. Ford is so understanding, patient and sweet with Ellie, and won't give up proving his love for her.

This book is well written and easy to read. It full of romance, heartbreak and tears, and a lot of laughter.

Adriana Locke has written such a amazing series with Landrys. It has become one of my favourite. They are all such different people, with very different story's to tell, yet they are all so close and supportive of one another, and I love reading about them. I can't wait to read Camillas story.

'Swear' has it all! Adriana Locke sure knows how to write great books filled with deep and genuine characters and a beautiful love story. Couple that with an irresistible but ever present family and you have a very special read. Even though part of a series it is a Standalone within a series. There is a HEA, No cheating & No cliffhanger - so rest assured you are safe!

Ford Landry and Ellie Pagan met years ago. They were inseparable (until they were seperated!) Having met in high school they were each other’s first everything's and had big plans for the future. Those plans were shattered when Ford enlisted and never looked back. When they were thrown together almost 10 years later, the scars remain and run deep and there is a great deal to answer for.

Ford hopes to earn her forgiveness and a second chance at their forever love, but understandably Ellie is afraid of getting hurt again. However the Landry men are persistent and he makes certain that Ellie knows that he’s serious, he makes it clear that she is still the only one for him.

While this was Ford's story, each Landry had a HUGE part to play in the book which made it so much richer and fun. It was just so emotional and perfect that I fell in love with Ford and Ellie!

Thank you for bringing us more of the meddling, but loving Landry family Adriana. Please give us more of your winning formula of heartbreak, humour, feel goods....once again a definite MUST read!!

4.5 Stars for Swear!

When I knew we were getting Ford’s book I was so excited. I love this family and I love reading their stories. Ford’s story didn’t disappoint. The Landry men continue to blow me away.

From reading the previous books in this series and seeing Ford appear in those stories I always felt like I knew he had gotten his heart broken and now I know why. Elle is everything that Ford needs in his life.

Elle is a great heroine. She’s story and independent and it’s obvious that she cares deeply about the people she loves. I found her really relatable throughout the story and all these qualities made me fall in love with her.

Just as you can expect, Ford is a great hero like his brothers. He’s cocky but not as cocky as his brothers and he has a heart of gold. He’s a 100% nice guy that is easy to fall in love with. These two are so perfect for each other and it’s obvious throughout the book.

I had a range of emotions while reading this, I was laughing at some points and then crying at others. Adriana Locke has a way of making you feel all the emotions as the characters you’re reading are. She puts you right there in their story making you feel like you’re watching the story unfold before your eyes.

This story was low on the angst but that didn’t take anything away from it. I thought this was a beautiful story about soul mates that needed a second chance at love.

This is one of those books that drew me in so deep. I couldn’t put the book down and before I knew it I was on chapter 23 and sad that I was over halfway through because I just wanted more of these characters. I am so in love with Ford and Elle. Their story captured me.

I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves romance. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I’m dying to know the man that has captured Cam’s heart.

I love this series.
I have to admit I struggled with the beginning of this book. I had a really hard time getting into Ford and Ellie’s story. I’m not sure why, but by the end I loved them as much as the past couples.
This book was slightly different than the previous books. Ellie and Ford have history, they dated exclusively in high school. So this is their second chance.
After returning from two tours in the military Ford has finally set up his own security company. When his brother sends him to meet up with a potential new client, he’s shocked and surprised to find his first love Ellie.
Only she is not nearly as happy to see him as he is to see her. The last time she saw Ford, was when he walked away from her ten years earlier, to “find himself”.
Ford looks at this unexpected reunion as a chance to start over, Ellie sees it as just another lame excuse for him to try to apologize.
I loved seeing seeing the past couples moving forward with their lives. Lincoln was, as always, hilarious. There was a birth, a death, a couple of engagements a wedding, and a few more surprises along the way.
Like I said, this story started out slow for me, but it did pick up about halfway through. I had a hard time understanding Ellie’s grudge against Ford. They were two teenage kids, who broke up. And she held that against him for ten years, using it keep him at a distance.
It was a bit more predictable than the earlier books but , overall I really liked it.
