Always interested in the arts, S.L. Scott grew up painting, writing poetry and short stories, and wiled her days away lost in a good book and the movies. With a degree in Journalism, she continued her love of the written word by reading American authors like Salinger and Fitzgerald. I love Jet and Tulsa Crow but Rivers is the one that will grab your heart and never let go.
Rivers is the third book in the Crow Brothers series by S L Scott and for me the one that stands out. Intensely heartbreaking and emotionally uplifting this book is one of past mistakes, unknown truths, gut wrenching choices, trust and finding the other half of your soul.

S L Scott has written Rivers story to perfection. A man lost in heartbreak and guilt. The blame he feels for all he has lost in the past and now his determination to get back the one person who has made it impossible for him to move forward. That same person who holds the key to his heart and soul and the only one who can heal the ache there that resides and won’t leave.

Stella is a beautiful soul with a loving heart but the hurt and the shattered trust that she believes was inflicted on her five years ago has left her heartbroken. Choices she has been forced to make since then have left her broken and numb.

When Rivers and Stella reunite the chemistry is electrifying, the passion all consuming and the love even stronger than it was before, but will trust and the knowledge of what has been sacrificed in the past be the catalyst that tears them apart forever? You will just have to read this story to find out and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

S L Scott has shown her heart and soul in this book. The ability to draw you in and have you feel like your apart of this book is so breathtaking and overwhelming. But trust me it is a journey well worth taking. This is five stars from start to finish.

I loved this beautiful story. I am a serious sucker for a broken rock star. I have been looking forward to River's story and I was not disappointed!! I absolutely loved River and Stella's second chance at love. It is not an in your face, action packed read. It's an emotion packed, chemistry filled read. You could feel their love story and their pain. Stella was a character that I felt very protective of and River was so in love with her it was painful at times that they were apart. It's a great read and I look forward to the next book in this series.

Rivers is an emotional ride filled with love and laughter but also a few gut wrenching scenes.
It is sooo hard not to fall in love with the three Crow brothers and their stories.
Rivers can certainly be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading all three books because they are so good and you will really get to learn about them and see the loyalty they have for one another.

Rivers will take you on an emotional rollercoaster of a ride.
This is a love story with 2 beautiful people - Rivers & Stella seeking redemption for sins that they were not responsible for but kept them apart.
Rivers is a hot, sweet, protective and a sex rock god who’s only regret is walking away from Stella. His heart has never recovered and despite being a rock god who can have any woman ... the only one he can’t stop thinking about is Stella.
Some parts were kinda tough and painful to read but even through all of their hardships .... it is sooo worth it!!!
If you haven’t read Spark or Tulsa’s stories I highly recommend you read them.
Rivers is another beautifully crafted story!!!

Wow, I just love this book, but how can you not enjoy the Crow Brothers. I was so looking forward to Rivers story and the author did not disappoint me. What would you do if your ex-turned back up after five years?
The flow of this book was wonderful and even if you have not read any of the other two books you can still fully appreciate these great characters. It's full of love, hate, trust, misunderstanding, forgiveness, suspense, lies, loyalty, family but most of all a second chance. I read this ARC copy of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review.
She was my everything.
Until she wasn't.
5 years he has stayed away he has everything he ever dreamed of all but the one thing his body craves.
Stella Fellowes had done what she needed to do for herself and her family and is finally getting on with her life. Until the one person she never wanted but always dreamed would return Rivers.

I didn’t think I could love anyone like Jet and then Tulsa but holy hell.
Rivers's book is sensational. It definitely is Suzie’s best.
The twists and turns are mind blowing and just when you think everything is going to go according to the plan it doesn’t and that’s what makes this book the absolute bomb!!!
It's heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.
Both Stella and Rivers are meant to be.
Read it! You won’t regret it!

OMG! I am seriously struggling with the actual words to describe how seriously awesome this book is.

I am completely and utterly in love with this story. It wasn’t so long back that I was reviewing Tulsa’s story and saying how he had stolen my heart. But reading Rivers has completely surpassed that. His story is EVERYTHING and so much more. It is a story that keeps on giving and leaves you wanting more and more and everything in between.

What’s great about S.L Scott’s books that apart from the romantic love stories, there are always unexpected plot twists. In this book, the twists were phenomenal and kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me guessing throughout. I simply could not put this down.

Stella is honestly one of the best female characters I have read. Her massive heart and beautiful soul is spellbinding. The determined sacrifices she felt had to make in order to protect everything and everyone she loved was so admirable and mirrored with her unwavering strength. My heart broke for her, with all the hurt and sadness she unfortunately had to endure. If there was ever a character deserving of true happiness, it certainly has to be Stella.

As for Rivers, WOW! What a beautiful soul, inside and out. A character who has always been an enigma. His haunting vulnerability and absorbing love grabs you from the very first page. Every uttered word, every single emotion that he felt, in fact every little thing he did, was packed full of absolute devotion. He has to be, hands down, the best romantic male hero I have EVER read. He is simply fantastic.

Every page was filled with so much love, angst and heartbreak. I am a huge romance novel fan, but never before have I read a story that had me in tears one moment and swooning the next. It is so hard to put into words how utterly beautiful this love story is. I am a huge romance novel fan, but never before have I read a story where the two main characters have such an immense and all consuming connection. They are the true definition of soulmates, with a sizzling chemistry. Their love story has etched a place in my heart forever which I shall never forget.

S.L. Scott is a phenomenal writer. Her ability to continually write stories that are heartfelt is incredible. You will never forget her stories or her books. Please keep them coming!!!

I have been reading S.L. Scott as quickly as possible to make up for missing out on her earlier work, but in the process, I never miss the newer books she’s releasing because the woman keeps hitting my weak spot – Rockstar Romance! Or at least she has with her last three books in the Crow Brothers series. Spark, Tulsa, and Rivers have owned me these last few months and I knew that I was going to fall hard and fast for the broody middle brother, Rivers… But WOW! I don’t think anything could have prepared me for this story. Honestly, this book is hands down my favorite Crow Brothers book! He 😉 It was INCREDIBLE! Rivers is a second chance rockstar romance and I couldn’t have loved it more!

There’s a ton of reasons to love a book that S.L. Scott writes. Her stories are always well written, and I swear she is able to pace them perfectly! I can’t think of a one that is rushed or too slow, causing my attention to start drifting. I also have an impossible time putting them down once I start reading… I have gotten in the habit of starting her books earlier in the day or I will not sleep at all just to read from start to finish! She’s gifted enough to write unique plots that appeal to me as both a reader and as woman - and those two are not always the same thing! I love a hot book, but not all romances seem romantic. Some are just smut. S.L. Scott doesn’t write just sex. Her books have a plot that will keep your mind turning even with her heroes cause your panties to melt! Her plots are layered, and I have yet to feel like they’re predictable. Also, I love the romance that exists between the hero and heroine – they develop a relationship much like one would in real life. Rivers is all of these things and its been such a pleasure to get my hands on an early copy to read it! I love the way S.L. Scott writes romance and I swear the woman has as many original stories inside her brain as Nora Roberts or Sandra Brown – so far, no two books by her have sounded anything alike and I love it!! Keep it up S.L. Scott!

Extremely important to note, S.L. Scott writes characters that I get totally wrapped up in! Every. Single. Time! It helps that so far everything I have read by her is in Duel POV – which happens to be my personal favorite – because we really get to know her characters. It’s possible to enjoy books that are only told from one characters perspective, absolutely, but there is just something about getting inside both their heads to tease out emotions that brings you closer to the characters you’re reading about! Now, I am not going to lie, I have a few hundred book boyfriends at this point… I would love to find an avid reader who doesn’t! But Rivers? Yah, Rivers most certainly took over as the hands down favorite Crow in my book… his love for Stella was so intense and deep. Five years apart and he still came back for her because living without her was no longer an option. It really shouldn’t have been one ever, but as kids, we all make mistakes and that’s what this book teaches this pair. You can’t live in the past. Whereas Jet and Tulsa Crow are a little more down with the rockstar lifestyle, Rivers broody personality has him stuck on the one woman he’s ever loved - his Stella Lilith, his soulmate. I loved that he called her by her full name 90% of the time. And Stella? Wow, her story broke. My. Heart! Seriously, I straight up cried when we get the full backstory, both from her perspective and again later from Rivers… It was brutal and tragic and yet she still opened herself up to her man again! I am relatively sure she’s stronger than I woulda been in her shoes. But a love as epic as theirs deserved a second change, and that’s just what S.L. Scott gave them… a chance at their HEA! It’s a fierce battle but one that any true lover of romance books will absolutely adore.

Rivers is the third book in the Crow Brothers Series, however each book is a standalone about individual characters and you can enjoy these out of order if you choose. Find out for yourself just how awesome S.L. Scott’s stories are… buying Rivers and get started right away!
