I love Michelle's work as she writes about some very dark and gritty stuff. Whilst it can be seen as dark by some I assure you they're very real subjects and can hold triggers for some readers.
You get a really good sense for what these characters are feeling and the pain that they go through, you the reader also go through.
You don't just read Michelle's books .... you FEEL them.
This one is heartbreaking and emotional. I love Eli and Quinn and the quiet alpha that is Eli is exactly what I loved about his father in Predator!! Whilst Eli may seem intimidating, his love for Quinn was truly beautiful and he really does have a heart of gold!!!
This is the kind of book that you just know from the very first page that is going to be amazing!!!

Book 2 in Michelle Horst’s Men of Honor series follows Eli and Quinn who are best friends, friends who both want more, sadly neither of them are willing to risk their friendship by taking a chance on love. Eli, believing that Quinn sees her as a younger sister, moves on with her life and falls in love, unfortunately tragedy strikes and her future is ripped away from her. Eli becomes her rock. Having read and loved Predator, I have to say that Redemption did not suck me in quite as quickly. In fact it wasn't until Quinn’s relationship with Eli progressed, and we met Eli’s parents (what a bonus that was, I had no clue when I started the book) that I truly started living this story. Eli and Ethan are definitely their father’s sons and I loved them. An action packed, romantic and very sensual story with strong characters and some graphic scenes, not quite as violent as Predator, but definitely not for the faint hearted. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Oh my heart!! This book was gut renching soul moving but in all beautiful from start to finish.

Eli and Quinn totally broke me and had me crying like a little baby. I fought back ugly tears as I forged my way through the utter devastation that this story brought.

Eli had totally swoon into my heart from the start Quinn had no chance and when tragedy hit he was even more amazing.

Be prepared for tears laughter swoon and more in this book.

This book will have you on all sorts of rollarcoasters but you will LOVE!!!

This was one of the most breathtakingly beautiful love stories I’ve read. I was surprised when I saw that book 2 was Cara/Nina & Damian/Alex’s, f/book 1, son! Eli was just as amazing as his dad. I loved reading book 1, but I totally fell in love w/book 2.
Quinn went through hell when she was shot & had to watch her best friend Katie & Katie’s family get killed right in front of her. She survived the attack, but the real struggle was surviving afterwards. Eli was beyond amazing. He was patient, gentle when she needed it & firmer when she needed to be pushed. But it was Nina I think who was exactly the voice & mother she needed the most.
This story was devastating, emotional, raw, & intense. I laughed at times, but I had tears in my eyes a lot too. Especially when Quinn was talking to Katie in her dreams. I absolutely devoured this book & fell in love w/Eli & Quinn. She was his treasure & he treated her exactly as that. And the epilogue was the best! It was beautiful, touching & sweet!

I couldn't wait to read this book. Predator was one of my favourites by Michelle Horst. This book was about Cara and Damian/ Alex's children. I devoured it in one go. It was beautifully written. I loved finding out more about Cara and Damian/Alex and their sons...
