PENALTY (Boston Terriers Book 1) Kindle Edition
He’s the bad boy quarterback of Boston University's football team.
As the son of a former NFL player, he’s showered with attention and praise twenty-four-seven. One flash of his smile and all the girls fall at his feet - or should I say to their knees?
And then there’s me.
Brady Lincoln is the last person I want attention from. He’s the kind of guy my father warned me about.
His play on the field is legendary and his play with the ladies, even more so. I’ve managed to stay off his radar until recently.
What happens when the cocky quarterback breaks all the rules to win my heart?

Fast quick read! Brady Jock extraordinaire with his cockiness and goodlooks. Along came Harlow and she was not having a bar of it. She really made him work for their relationship. I enjoyed these characters as well as the secondary characters. I really like Nick cant wait for his story.

Loved this Book and the twist was brilliant.
Penalty would have to be my Favourite book by Jacob. It has a great storyline, it's written in dual perspective which I love and you will be love the 2 lead characters.
Brady Lincoln is a Football jock who is cocky as hell, is never short of something filthy sexy to say and has a reputation as a player. I mean guys like Brady don't get knock backs very often which is absolutely the appeal when Harlow breezes into his life full of everything he is not.
Why is he all over the place? He can have anyone he wants at the click of his fingers, is she a challenge for him? The twist I didn't see coming till it hit, loved it.
I love Sports Romance books, make sure you one click this baby today.

Brady & Harlow prove that sometimes opposites attract.
He's the QB of their college football team, life of the party, cocky etc.
She the quiet psyc major with a sassy wit.
But together they complement each other.
I liked it. Can be read as a standalone.

I read this book in preparation for Jacob Chance's upcoming release Drive and it was the perfect book after I'd been reading a slew of angst ridden stories.
Reading about playboy Brady being entranced with Harlow - the one girl who didn't immediately fall at this feet - was an absolute pleasure. These two are the sweetest - so much so that the further I read the more I was worried something big was coming.
And then the massive bombshell was dropped and I wasn't sure if Brady and Harlow would come back from it. But full credit to Jacob for giving this couple a realistic resolution to one hell of a problem!!
And having met Nick (the lead in Drive) I'm more than ready to read what is coming next!!

This is a great start to a series.
Harlow is at BU studying Psychology. She studies all the time and doesn’t party that often.
Brady is a football jock and expects women to fall at his feet until he meets Harlow.
Harlow awakens something in Brady and he can’t get enough of her. Harlow has had a crush on Brady since she spotted him, but doesn’t act on it as she thinks she isn’t his type.
This is a must read for everyone.

Sweet, sexy, addicting and captivating!!! Brady is the college start quarterback and ladies man. Harlow is the quiet petite beautiful college student. She captures the eye of Brady and it’s love at first site. So much so he stops his rotation with women and wants Harlow. She makes him work for her time and affection. It’s such a great story. Jacob Chance really knows how to deliver great characters and spice! Can’t wait to read next book in the series.

I love any American football reads.
This was by far the best and I enjoyed it so much I read it in one day.
Brady- is the QB who is gods gift to every women who fall to their knees to get to know him. But not the boy behind the QB just the boy in the sack. He has a reputation of a player. Not a player on the field but a player in the sexual activities.
But one day his smirk and flex of muscles and his “I’m a football player” doesn’t work in a girl and it throws him. Like he is shocked.
But will he be able to weigh her down to get to know more or will she duck and dive away from him??
Harper- is a girl who has been through a lot. Has a step mum that is like a Cinderella step mum, so negative. But she goes to college to do what she has always wanted. She has her head in the books and not in the looks of guys or frat parties. But that all changes one night when her room mate pulls her away from the books to enjoy a night out.
Then her whole world changes, but is it for good or bad??
You will enjoy this read and you won’t forget the name Brady/Harper.

One thing about this book- I loved it.
Now, that said, I wanted to be more specified because frankly, I couldn't wait to talk about it. Jacob Chance had promoted that it would be different and I do agree that its a different story; but everything that Jacob masters genially is in it. To be honest, I would like to say it's one of my favourite from him but I can't take away all the great stuff he did previously; its just incomparable and that's exactly why Penalty is so fantastic. It's intimate. Its emotional, it's very enticing and rousing and mostly, its deep... but not dark. One thing that can't be denied about Penalty: this style suit Jacob Chance like a Tux. I'm starting to wonder if there is anything he can't write and most importantly, makes it a real chef d'oeuvre, bottom line.
I couldn't put the book down and since I've started at 11:15 pm reading it, I should've, at some point. But I spent the night up (I think its one his longest book and it was such a good surprise; I never want it to stop when I start reading him). The main point is the characters. I love Brady. I couldn't find one flaw in him (hold on, I'm not saying he's perfect. I'm saying he's faithful to himself throughout the whole book and Jacob never "dropped him" once). It's the type of male character you just can't help yourself to fall for him. He's a mix of so many things all wrap up together, you just swoon for him throughout the whole story. Commanding at the right places, rightly sweet to have the gods forgive him about anything. I just love how this arrogant sex symbol pace his way in the story. He's intensely hot and because of that, Jacob gives us what we expect from his book: HOTNESS!
Its lustily erotic, tantalizing all your inner desires, but its also seductive, charming you as a reader. Its filled with humour, but it's also a story that tips on the wound of the past we carry, and will influence our present sometimes. However, Jacob's approach remains light, yet captivating (sleepless night ... just a reminder).
Why should you read it? Because its probably the book that you need right now. First, it's one that wont get your mind work out like crazy (I'm not promising the same about your body, though). And second, the accuracy of the characters, emotional, environment and the path they get on to, is perfect. The characters remain faithful to their nature and this specific environment they gravitate. They evolve but you never feel like you're dealing with a bunch of "thirties" people at any moment. Its what I sometimes noticed in books that deals with young adults; sometimes during the story, they're acting, thinking and talking like they've grown 10 years all of a sudden: not with Penalty. Jacob totally shine at this task.
I've said it before and I will say it again: there's a common denominator in all Jacob's book: The uniqueness of his pen and wording. No one describes a erotic scenes (well, just to cite an exemple) like he does (my personal opinion, of course). From day one, he's been my finest Scotch in wording and Penalty is full of it. Its always been his greatest assets and why he's in the top 5 of my all time favourite authors. But now I can add another string to his bow: he can write about anything. And they always end in an incredible story.
