This book absolutely blew me away! I absolutely completely loved and adored this book. Salem was a fantastic character and Arrow stole my heart in her eyes and of his own accord. Together they were dynamite and their love was so perfect. I actually hated her sister because she was a vile character and I would have loved more of a satisfying ending for her.
But yeah...I can’t say any more than that. Except that this was one of the best 2020 reads. A fave for sure. And the cover model-he’s so gorgeous and so perfect for Arrow. 100% 5 stars for this amazing read.

My Darling Arrow (St. Mary's Rebels Book 1) Kindle Edition
Darling Arrow,
I shouldn’t be writing this. It’s not as if I’m ever going to send you this letter, and there are a million reasons why.
First of all, I was sent to this reform school as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.
Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t even like you.
But strangely your coldness sets me on fire.
The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field, and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that motorcycle of yours, make me go inappropriately breathless.
But that’s not the worst part.
The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son. You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.
And I really shouldn’t be thinking about my sister’s boyfriend, or rather fiancé (I overheard a conversation about the ring that I shouldn’t have).
Now if I can only stop writing you these meaningless letters that I’ll never send and you’ll never read…
Never yours, Salem
NOTE: This is a STANDALONE novel set in the world of St. Mary's.

Look, aside from the sort of repetitive writing (just not my jam okay) this was fire. Arrow is the perfect possessive alpha male, while still being all sweet and stuff and just all over wonderful. I’m also a sucker for the student/teacher trope AND the siblings ex trope so OF COURSE I LOVED IT.
Bad Boy Blues is the only other book I have read by this author and that is one of my all time favs. I have a feeling the next book in this series I am going to love just as much!

This love story built of heart ache took me while to break through then I couldn't unhook myself from their love and pain and I started to hope for more lol and I found these two just so relatable but he's so broken and man she's so brave and strong and fights for herself and her love and it's a different touching love story that I fully enjoyed, I'm definitely going to hook into more of Saffron's books because she rocked this one so well everyone was encouraging me to read it and it was a great intense journey cheers enjoy peoples.

I read it in a day, it was just one of those books that I HAD to finish. Salem (I love that name!) was a tad annoying and too needy, but in the end it all worked out okay. Smut scenes were preeeetty good! Overall 3.5 :)

This was so good. Arrow starts off as a typical arrogant a-hole, while Salem is love struck and in so so very deep. There is a lot of internal monologue from her, leaving you seeped in her love for Arrow. Eventually you learn the why of Arrow, and he totally redeems himself, leaving you in the trancelike state that all of Saffron’s book seems to end on. Can’t wait for the rest of this series

Ok, so I will start with I found Salem obsessively annoying for the first half of the book, I didn't get enough out of her character besides her being extremely devoted to Arrow.
Arrow, him I loved, the backstory, the broodiness, possessive, alpha and God damn the dirty talk!
This book got going the last 25% for me, until then it was just okay for me.

This book was an incredible read. I loved Salem ( how could you not)? She’s got the greatest spirit. I felt so sorry for Arrow but his personality and love came through. Can’t wait for the next book.

I love so much this story I don't know where to begin, so I'll just say one thing: thank you Saffron A. Kent for such a special tale, such beautiful imagery, and such perfectly imperfect characters.

Salem and Arrow

Ahh... another emotionally profound love story from the St. Mary's Rebels series. This time it's about Salem Sallinger and Arrow Carlisle.
Arrow's story is the story of a boy who was inhibited in his personality development as a child. He was brought up by his mother to 'continue his father's legacy'. This ideology led to the personality disorder Arrow suffers from. He is a young man who never learned to love.
Salem, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of him. She is unpredictable, chaotic and full of love. But she was also inhibited in her personality development as a child. Because of her "lack of perfectionism," she never received the encouragement and support she needed.
But through Salem's naivety (here it's positive) and love, she develops exactly the kind of strength Arrow needs to break free of his inner emptiness and anger.
Sidenote: This book might be triggering in places. This is about emotional violence by the mother.
Sidenote 2: Zach and Cloe (from Bad Boy Blues) are briefly mentioned in this book.

Oh my goodness. This had to have been one of the dirtiest talking books with SO. MUCH. STEAM. it was so unexpected but I'm not complaining. Aside from that I thoroughly loved the character development and how they both grew so substantially within themselves with the help of each other. I felt it really conveyed how important it is to find a partner who builds you up and helps you be the best version of yourself.

As always, this author has the ability to write increíble stories, full of angst and sexy love.
I really enjoyed Salem, and absolutely hated the sister.
Arrow was her perfect hero and reading about soccer was also really cool.
