She’s my best friend’s little sister and when he asked me to give her the grand tour, he did not mean of my bedroom.
So Mr. Big has to stay under wraps… One problem, she’s the only woman I’ve ever truly loved. But with the secret I’m keeping, she’ll never love me back.

About the authors
Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves all things romance and adventure.
That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

Her love of all things office romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Q was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick-butt heroines ever since.

Mr. Big is a second chance romance full of angst and pain. Emma and Zach have known each other since they were kids; Zach is the best friend of her brother. History and pain keep them apart for over ten years and they spend a good portion of the first half of the story fighting how they feel for one another.
The slow boil romance is back and forth and well laid out. Zach is a man who believes he is not a good choice for Emma, that he simply isn’t good enough for her because of who he is. Darkness swirls in his head and eats away at his self-worth. His internal battle is at times so harsh you can visualise how little worth he has in himself. The way Emma sees him is so completely different, she knows his worth.
‘Emma was now his responsibility and he had no idea what to do about it. Once rule though: despite the years, she was still off-limits.
You’d do well to remember that.’
The flashbacks in this story blend in effortlessly with the present. These scenes give more depth of colour to the characters’ lives. The only issue I had with this book is the blurb. It talks about a man and his large stick, and yet his stick isn’t even that prominent in the story, which to me is great. Mr. Big was all about the love two people had for each other and the pain that surrounded them and made them doubt themselves and what they were trying to make of their future together.
The description and attention to detail when it came to London was done by an author who clearly loves London. She clearly has a great understanding on the correct method practices in how to create a good read. Mr. Big was full of secondary characters that made me laugh or made me want to punch someone. Zach’s self-deprecation was deep and black. Self-destructive to the core and full of so much venom I feared he may poison himself before he found his way.
Zach is a self made businessman. He left home after high school with nothing more than a few pounds to his name determined to make something of himself and leave his past behind. It wasn’t easy but with hard work and the right connections he achieved success.
Emma has been longing to get out of the small town she grew up in and experience more of the world. Her opportunity arrives in a scholarship to the University of West London.
Shortly after arriving Emma’s best friend talks her into having a girls night out. The last person Emma expected to run into was Zach.
They’ve loved each other for years but neither one had the courage to tell the other. Now they have a chance to become more than just friends but will the painful secret that Zach keeps tear them apart.

My *only* issue with this book is the main couple’s complete lack of thought or care for the well-being of Em’s best friend. They abandon her alone at night clubs MULTIPLE times and don’t ever think twice about it. The excuse is always over the well-being of Em and making sure she gets home safely and doesn’t take transportation, yet they leave the best friend (who I believe is named Laila) to fend for herself, completely alone. Even less safe than she and Em would’ve been together. I know it’s a small thing and not super important to the love story but also, friendships and the safety of friends (ESPECIALLY late at night during/after a night out) are incredibly important and any partner who doesn’t value that is someone I automatically think less of.

Zach a billionaire club owner falls for his best friends little sister, but a secret is keeping them apart. Will it tear them apart once she learns or will she be able to forgive him?
