Ruby always thought she had been humiliated by her friend Will thus ending their friendship. They meet again going to a friend's wedding at his resort. At this time the tension, buildup etc was fantastic however once the truth came to light the story lost its magic for me. Perhaps if this had been revealed closer to the end I would've given a few more *. Overall it wasn't bad. Actually some may think I'm petty & feel differently. I'll leave that up to you.

How Ruby keeps it together is a miracle really!

Imagine coming face to face with the guy who basically owned your heart at College. Imagine he humiliated you in front of his frat brothers without even knowing it was you he was embarrassing. Imagine he's grown up to be sexy, successful and worse still, seemingly a nice guy who's providing a 5 star tropical resort for your best friend to celebrate her wedding.

Now imagine he's hotter than hell and determined to get in your pants!

That's what Ruby is facing when she re-encounters Will.

This book had a lot of cringe worthy moments - cringe worthy because we've all been there in some form over the years and some laugh out loud encounters. The sexual tension between these two is off the charts as they taking flirting to a new level.

3.5 stars. A sweet and sexy second chance romance that pulled at my heart strings. There were some funny scenes and also some steamy ones, and I liked this story overall but I didn't LOVE it. I just didn't feel the connection between Ruby and Will. Having said that, this was an easy and enjoyable read.

I enjoyed Will and Ruby’s story. I loved how little miss steps and misunderstandings kept them apart all these years. Yet it was clearing up the biggest one that brought them together for good.
I loved the destination wedding setting for most of the story. It gave almost a fairytale feel to their romance. There were spots that had me laughing out loud. It was truly a fun book to read. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
