This book deals with love from the desperate need to be loved, innocent first love, friend and family love to heartbreak and all the forms of love inbetween. This book is well written braydens journey is as spiralled and intense as the world's fastest scariest rollarcoaster . I love the nickname Soot for Ash, she is a strong and sassy you instantly fall in love with her. This is a great first part to what I'm sure is going to be an amazing duet.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Not at all predictable as some romance novels are. It keeps u guessing. I loved the characters and their complex relationships. There are different portrayals of love not just romantic. Can’t wait to read more from this author!

Ash and Brayden are one of those couples that seem doomed from the start. Brayden suffers from a crippling case of difficult adolescence which definitely impairs his decision making ability. Ashley is perennially his best friend’s sister that he doesn’t notice the way she wants. Add impending fame, sporting success and a broken family, and Brayden is an inevitable disaster. Now it’s onto book two to see how the pieces are picked up in the aftermath.

Brayden, a boy reading a book at the library. The son of the infamous baseball player Jack Ross, told Ashley he would give her the moon and the stars. His bestfriend's little sister, he should want to protect her, not want all her firsts. I.Wanted.Her. But that wasn't part of the plan, anyone who has loved him has left, some would say trouble followed him everywhere he would go.

Ashley, a girl looking for trouble. Sassy and called Brayden out on his shit. Met Brayden at the library and they have been bestfriends ever since. Three words, that's all she needed to describe what she felt for Brayden, but those same three words could ruin him.

A tragic story of love and loss, and sometimes you love someone enough to let them go. Disaster struck the lives of Brayden and Ashley, leaving Ashley with two choices, both of them breaking her heart. Grieving, its a process, but how is Ashley supposed to heal from this one. But let's start at the beginning.

wow. This book is so raw and full of emotion. I am completely blown away. The twists and turns throughout this plot was just, wow. I did not expect any of them. I thought this be a cutesy brother's best friend, definitely not. I also didn't expect to cry, but I did. The things Brayden went through, throughout this book, is so heartbreaking, and the strength it took Ashley to do what she did in the end. Just wow, my review does not do this book justice at all. Please read this if you haven't. This is such a beautiful story and it deserves to be read. Thank you Harlow Cole for writing it. <3

First let me start by saying this story is not for the faint of heart. There are plenty of triggers, so if you are easily upset or offended and would like a story with little angst and drama and a quick HEA, this is not for you. If you want a book that makes you both love and hate the MC's and puts you through the emotional ringer, than look no further. I personally loved how complex and flawed the characters are.
