This is a really cute story. I’m not into the whole bachelor show things since I know they are all acting, but I gotta say that Paige and Dash story had me hooked. I loved the instant attraction between Paige and Dash, their chemistry was sizzling hot! I loved that Paige played hard to get and made Dash work. I loved how sincere, sweet and caring Dash is. Anyone who takes care of their folks when they don’t have has me swooning. They way that Dash and Paige accidentaly met, time and time again was a slow burn. The fact that they were off limit since she was workin on the show he was the star of made their story more exciting. I couldn’t wait to find out who would give in first since everytime they were together it was pure desire. Their attraction was undeniable and hot, but it would cost them their job. Paige ws hired as a production assistant to “Ever After” a bachelor type show where she had to see the guy she was attracted to pick for a line of girls who he was gonna marry, it was a heartbreaking task. Dash accepted the role on the bachelor show “Ever After” for personal reasons; since he retired as a Formula One Race car driver he has commitments he needs to make good on. Neither of them expected that their chance encounter would turn out to be so much more. Their attraction can either destroy their career or their happiness. This story is full of spicy, witty banter and undeniable passion between Dash and Paige. There is also betrayal, drama, heartache and love. Their attraction is steamy and both are gonna go one a hell of a ride. Paige is strong, witty, brave and sexy smart who tells it like it is. Dash is so charming, sweet and sexy as hell and he is her only problem in her way up to her dream job. I loved their story. I love everything Katie McCoy writes, she is amazing.

HOT BACHELOR is a standalone read with a HEA. It has LOTS and LOTS of hot sex so be aware if that is a problem for you. The story is based on The Bachelor that is airing right now. A young woman is on her way to the "mansion" to take on the job as PA to the director. She gets involved in a snow storm on her way to New York from London. She has to be there at a certain time or loses her opportunity. Due to some weird circumstances she winds up in a car with the famous Formula One racecar driver. Little does she know that he is to be the new "suitor". He has no idea who she is either. They are forced to stop at night on their journey to NY. They are getting very friendly when he gets a phone call and in a few minutes a helicopter lands to pick him up. She figures she will never see him again.

Not so fast!! She comes face to face with her road trip pal when she is introduced to the new "suitor" her first few minutes on the job. There is definitely chemistry between these two. They are constantly thinking about the other and what they would like to do to them. He is suppose to be wooing 10 beautiful women. She is suppose to be keeping out of his way and not getting involved and getting fired. She needs the job.

He does as well. He has had a financial set-back that the public knows nothing about so he has to do as he is told or loses the money he is being paid. Of course rules are made to be broken and these two manage to get together and sneak around seeing each other.

So that is the main story. Now what was as interesting was their take on the show they were filming. Everything is staged, it is all fake, girls are instructed how to act, etc. The bachelor is encouraged to keep picking the women that get the most on-line interest. I have watched a LOT of the bachelor shows and I often wondered why oh why he kept picking the *itch. Just doesn't make sense. Now I think I know. I thought this may be the case and now I believe it absolutely. It almost makes you gag to think this is what is going on. I'm sure it is not ALL the way the show is but I do believe it is pretty much what really happens. The producer was something of a slug but then some of the girls had no problems not letting it be an issue as they go on their journey to fame. I don't think I will ever watch The Bachelor with the same eyes!!! But then we all know "reality" TV is not really real anyway.

It is an interesting take and the end was a bit different. I'm just glad we didn't have to share America's opinion of what happens. It was an enjoyable read and I would recommend it.

Paige has been hired as a production assistant on the bachelor type show Ever After which would be the stepping stone she needs to advance her career so this opportunity needs to turn out well.

Dash is a retired race car driver who is in the show for personal reasons and they aren’t necessarily to find the love of his life.

When Paige shows up for filming she is shocked to find that the Bachelor is none other than her hot one night stand from the previous evening. Complications abound as Dash only wants Paige but he needs to fulfill his contract to the show or he’s in a bigger mess than when he started. Paige doesn’t want to be responsible for the destruction of the filming if their past comes out, as it could destroy her career as well, although it’s not easy when jealousy rears it’s ugly head as she watches 12 competitive woman vie for the attention of the man she can’t forget.

I loved the characters as they were so real with their own quirks and the banter between them will make you laugh out loud.

Paige meets Dash on her way to a new job when their flight is cancelled and they end up renting a car and driving. There is no doubt they fancy each other but he goes off before anything can happen. The next day she arrives on the show only to find he's the bachelor and he going to be on tv with twenty beautiful women. She can hardly watch but Dash still wants her and they risk meeting until Dash thinks she sold him out and he was filmed telling the audience his thoughts.

It's an okay book for a quick read but it's kinda disappointing that it's so very similar to the TV show Unreal that has the same plot. Down to the PA getting it on with the suitor him choosing her over the contestants and a former candidate becoming the new suitress. It's like "oh can I copy your homework?" "yes. But change it so it's not too obvious" very underwhelming.
