Yes, that’s Anjelica with a ‘J’ not a ‘G’. You can thank her parents for the birth certificate spelling mix up, but it makes for a unique and fun story.

Anyway, Anjelica Grace is a Denver native living in the same suburb north of the Mile High City that she grew up in. She’s an avid reader, and blogger, turned Contemporary Romance author that has an affinity for crazy socks, Minions, and candy. But not chocolate.

Family and friends are the most important things in Anjelica’s life, but when she’s not with them, you can find her with a book in hand, writing, or studying hard while she pursues her other career of becoming a BCBA.

Still new to the publishing side of things, Anjelica started her journey off in late 2018 by publishing a short story as a part of a Christmas anthology with a group of amazing authors that helped and encouraged her along the way. Once she dipped her toe into the writing waters, that was it, she knew she couldn’t stop or look back again.

Talk about Holding on Tight!! This book will be having you do that, and plus some!! What an emotional rollercoaster of emotions, a page turner, and an amazing story!!!!
I loved the story of Chase and Allie, and their girls!! WOW!! I couldn't put it down and had to finish it and see what happened next!
Chase and Allie are married, but Chase is married more to the Rodeo than Allie. Allie is taking care of their girls back home, and is getting run down. Chase is all about the rodeo, and don't know if he can give it up. Longer stretches between rides, longer days between phone calls. What is Allie to do.
Then an unfortunate accident happens with one of their girls, and Chase thinks, should I change things? Just this year to finish up and win the title, and then he had plans.
Twists and turns, and unforeseen events happened, (I don't wanna ruin it for someone that hasn't read it yet), and Chase has to change up everything that he had planned for him and his family.
OMG! I can't get over the "high fives" from Allie and the girls to Chase.
Thank goodness Cody was there to help along the way. I can't wait to read his story!!!
Can Allie make Chase see what he has at home, and to step away from the Rodeo?
Can Chase let Allie in again?
I loved the storyline, the characters, the plot, just everything!!!

1. "Will you give him a high five? Tell him it's a special one from me, he'll know what it is." - OMG!! Ava made me cry!!!! It's a special high five alright!
2. Then he looks at Cody, and Cody looks at him, and I swear to God they had a conversation with that one look. - That's how close Cody and Chase are! I love it!
3. "Nothing could ever take me from you. Not the rodeo. Not all the money in the world. I'm yours. I will always be yours." - SWOON MOMENT!!!!

I loved this book from the opening page and just kept reading it till the end. It made laugh cry get angry and with the background of bull riding one of my favourite sports it fulfilled everything thing I needed.

After reading the prequel novella, More Than Winning, I could not get my hands on this book fast enough. I love my cowboys and grew up going to rodeos, so this book had me hooked from the first page. Chase and Allie face life as a rodeo family together, while both of them had very different perspectives on the way of life, they are a united front to face life together. Life is hard for this rodeo family, Chase is gone more than he is home, leaving Allie to handle the ranch and their girls. He has a dream, what he doesn't tell Allie is why this champion bull rider is pushing himself more this season. He wants to secure their future, in more ways than one.
Allie sees their girls growing up without enough of their dad's time. While one wants to follow in his rodeo boots, the other is interested in everything but rodeo. However, when Chase is home he is the best daddy in the world. He loves his girls and his wife fiercely and wants nothing more than to increase their family.
For a new author Ms. Grace has her finger on the pulse of her characters and portrays their actions and emotions with an authenticity that few first-time writers do. Her emotional portrayal of the heartache of losing a child and the fight to conceive is spot on having been there myself. Ms. Grace crafted a nearly perfect family story encompassing all the things a great story needs: family, loyalty, friendship, humor, conflict, passion, steamy scenes, and above all else love. Her writing is well-paced and her characters so well-developed they jump off the page and into the reader's heart. I highly recommend this book, even if you don't know anything about rodeo and cowboys because the story is beautiful and heartwarming. I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next.

This was a story of love, loss of a career path not by choice and overcoming odds that shouldn’t have to normally be overcome.

Chase and Allie are married and have two daughters and he is a bull rider by profession. Allie and he unleash a whole lot of fears and secrets on each other and just when things start to turn the corner they get SMACKED with a big problem and a wonderful surprise at the same time.

This story was so beautiful to watch them work through their fears to come out on the other side stronger than ever before ❤️❤️❤️

This book was such a ride! I don’t read a lot of this trope but Anjelica Grace wrote an absolutely beautiful story that will tug on your heartstrings.

Allie is very relatable. She’s surviving motherhood while her husband is on the road and trying to find the balance. It’s hard and overwhelming and sometimes major changes need to be made.

‘I need us.’

Even though Chase is on the circuit chasing his dream, I love the way he loves Allie. The fact that it is such a strong element to the story really elevated their relationship for me and allowed the focus to be more on the outside stressors.

So many times an existing marriage in a story is undesirable but this was refreshing and real. The love that Allie and Chase have for each other is palpable as they navigate each hardship. It’s not always pretty but they know what they have is worth fighting for.

This was the first book that I've read by Anjelica Grace, and I really enjoyed it! I'm not usually one who goes for cowboys, but there was something special about Chase and Allie. I think that one of my favorite things about Hold on Tight was that it wasn't your typical "boy and girl meet; boy and girl fall in love; boy and girl get married". Chase and Allie were already married with two children, so through the course of the book, we saw problems that married couples faced. I really liked that! I will definitely read more by this author!
