I absolutely loved this book. I fell in love with Abby and Theo and hated how Abby was treated and always seemed to unseemly cause a scene when she is upset. Theo, her dog, always had her back and he loved her and he tormented her

This book was an awesome bully romance! Certainly different from any I’ve read before and I can’t wait to read the next in the series

This comes highly recommended but it’s not my cup of tea after reading few chapters. It’s DNF for me but only because I have a weak heart for bullying. So far the quality of writing is excellent, as far as I can read.

I give it 4/5 star because it’s not fair to give low rating just because I can’t take the bully. This may be an excellent read for someone but not for me. Enjoy 😊

If you've read a book by Mary before you know she takes your heart hostage. Just because this is a bully romance don't expect any different.

Theo will be the guy you love to hate. You will question his motives, want to slap him frequently and beg for just a scrap of attention from him.

Abigail will infuriate you just as much as you will sympathise with her. The reject the loner the unloved daughter but she's a firecracker that won't be held down.

Mary has written a complex bully romance with so many different strands. The bodyguard out for revenge the woman looking for love and acceptance.

I have read alot of bully romances and they have become my guilty pleasure. Mary is an author who always gives that little but extra in her books and delivers a story I didn't know that I'd been waiting on. Her writing is impeccable her storytelling ability is amazing.

A must read bully romance.

Heartless Hero ticks all the boxes if you love a bully romance, enemies to lovers or second chance romance.

Theo and Abigail's story is unique, original and twisted. The characters are complex, dynamic and damaged.

Abigail is spoiled, entitled, reckless, rebellious and the blacks sheep of the family, but she's also human and completely misunderstood.

Theo on the other hand is the perfect alpha blend of diabolic bully and protector.

Full of twists and turns, machinations and manipulations at times I didn't know wether to love or hate these characters, but I was completely fascinated and enthralled by their story.

It made me want to read it over again, it made me want to throw my kindle out the window.
I cried, I yelled, I quietly fumed. I have read many bully romances lately, but never one like this. I felt for Abigail, for what she endured by her family. But also I kinda wish she was a little bit stronger, she seemed a bit weak at times, especially near the end with the scene with Theo and Gemma. Which I hated. ALOT.

Heartless Hero By Mary Catherine Gebhard is a new adult/forbidden/second chance/bully/enemies to lovers romance, is told from duel POVs and is the first book in the ‘Crowne Point’ Series.

So I read this series a little backwards having read Stolen Soulmate first and I’m so glad I did.

I had no plans on reading Heartless Hero but after meeting Theo and Abigail in Stolen Soulmate I knew I just had too. I LOVED their story!!! It was filled angst, heartbreak, suspense and they definitely had their swoon worthy moments!!!

Catherine has this way of writing characters that are complex and layered, and Abigail and Theo are no different. I look forward to reading more of her work.

On a side note: I’m really glad I read Stolen Soulmate first as it gave me insight to Gray’s character during this book and I don’t believe I would’ve read his and Story’s book if I had of met him in this book.

Wow this book was incredible. It took me on a journey I didn’t expect. I heard a lot about this book and it was recommended to me by a couple friends. I am sure glad I took their advice and dove in. Abigail is a Princess, her family has wealth, power and everything she could ever want, everything but the man she loves. Theo is Abigail’s bodyguard, but first and foremost he was her best friend, her confidant and person she could rely on most. When he goes away suddenly, though she is furious, she never stops thinking about him or loving him. Then years later he returns to protect her and be by her side which confuses her and makes her broken-hearted. However, the kicker is she is about to be married off to a man who doesn’t deserve her. The minute Theo is back in Abigail’s life, their feelings come rushing back, but they are both harboring so many secrets, they both aren’t sure if their is any part of the old people they used to be and now that Theo is back to protect her, he will do everything and anything to do just that.

This book threw me for loops. When I thought it would go one way, it went the other. There were times where I threw my Kindle so mad, yelling no, please don’t go that way. Then however, I was so glad the way the story played out. Have I been living under a rock? I don’t know where I have been. Why I waited so long to read this. Abigail and Theo’s story is beautiful, broken, unpredictable and extremely well written. It is full on bully romance at its finest. This is the first book that I have read of Mary Catherine Gebhard and it certainly wont be the last. This book is a must read. If you love a good Bully Romance, with twists and turns and a happily ever after, then this is the book for you.

This book is fabulous! It had me laughing and crying the whole thing me I was reading. Abby seemed like a spoiled rich girl to start till you got into her character more. Theo seemed to be lost the whole time. What he did to Abby made her into who she became. It may have been mean and hurtful but it did what it need to to make her happy! Loved this book! Love this author! I’m already itching for more!

Theo is so deliciously frustrating and attractive. I can’t decide half the time if I love him or want to strange him. Most of the time it’s both. He’s a dark hero but he’s a gentle and protective one when he needs to be. There is a part of this story when he realises the reality for Abigail and he just tries so hard to not fall apart. His vulnerability feeds his over protective nature and drives his love for Abigail to extremes.

Abigail, man she suffers a lot in this book, not just from Theo being Theo but from her mother. I would not even call her that to be honest, I felt the disgust flowing through me. She doesn’t deserve the title and I cannot see a way for her to be redeemed because she doesn’t even recognise what she did!

This book is one of my top reads in 2020, I have a new one click author. This book genuinely blew my mind! I still cannot stop thinking about Theo and Abigail. At so many different points in this book, I found myself hating Theo, wanting to hug him and Abigail, and then wanting to bang their heads together. To say this is an enemies to lovers book is accurate as heck! There is so much angst, there’s so much tension and intensity! I can’t stand it but at the same time I cannot get enough of it! I can’t count the amount of times I put the book down because of the feelings it was making me get. I can’t forget this book and I am so glad I picked it up!

What a great story. It is not a spicy story; however, it is a sensual story. This is a soulmate story with a bodyguard twist, rich girl-poor boy, Romeo and Juliet vibes, everyone's against me, and family comes first. There are a lot of themes running through this story, and Mary Catherine still manages to write a seamless story of two young souls that makes you feel everything from hope to desperation to anger to glee.
