I really enjoyed reading this last book, Hard Rock Love! Sadly, the last book in Athena Wright's Hard Rock series, Cherry Lips, which is a part of her Hard Rock Romance series. I absolutely "LOVED" all three series.....Feral Silence, Darkest Days, and Cherry Lips! As with the other books she drew you into the lives of the characters and the Rockstar lifestyle....."VERY EXCITING and THRILLING"!! Hard Rock Love is Seth and Abby's(Abigail) story. Abby and Seth know each other from childhood, but haven't seen each other for a long time. Both have "grown up" and aren't kids anymore!! 😏 It's a struggle for both of them to not give in to their attraction to each other. Also Abby is trying to figure out what her purpose/passion in life is while attending college, and Seth is balancing a hectic schedule and taking a course to get his high school diploma. If I'm being vague that's because I don't want to spoil the book for anyone!! You'll have to read it to fill in the blanks! It's an awesome story/book and series! Very well written and you will definitely fall in love with these Hunky Hot 🔥Rock 🎸Stars just like I did! It's best if you start with the Feral Silence series! I don't think you'll be disappointed! 😊

Hard Rock Love is the final book in the Cherry Lips series. Each book can be read as a stand alone. But why would anyone want to? After reading each book in order I so looked forward to Seth’s story. Seth is a warm friendly character that so deserved his own story. We had glimpses of Abby in the past. Together they perfectly compliment each other. There are secrets, misunderstandings, laughter, love and hot sex.

If this is your first Athena Wright book I highly encourage you to read the complete series. If you have already read the others you really don’t need to look at the reviews. This book is just as good if not better. Everyone you already know and have grown to love is here. Grab a glass of wine, sit back and fall in love all over again.

We've met every member of Cherry Lips and heard their story except Seth, so guess what? This is Seth's very own story! He's always the crazy, cheerful guy loving those wild drinking games that he dreams up where everyone complains but still plays. As we found out in Hard Rock Muse, Julian and Seth used to be in a band with Everly before that went south. Now Everly and Julian are engaged and the 3 are good friends again. Everly's younger sister, Abby , knew the guys too when she was a younger kid but Everly has tried to keep her out of the world of rock and roll. Now at 18, Everly thinks Abby needs to get out more, to get a break from studying. When Seth sees Abby, he can hardly take his eyes off of her! Everly tells him to stay away from her sister!!! Will he listen?? Will Abby? Or will the 2 of them start talking and actually listening to each other and maybe learn more about themselves in the process? Or not! Just read this delightful book and find out!!

Seth and Abby's story

This was okay. The writing was good, but I felt like Abby was too immature. I know she was just 18, but that's usually why I stay away from YA novels. Seth was a good guy, who tried too hard to make sure that everyone else was happy. The whole thing about the rumors on campus about Abby was a little too unbelievable for me. It's mentioned she's on a campus with thousands of other people, but everyone she comes into contact with knows about a stupid rumor that some drunk idiots spread about her? If this was high school I would say absolutely, but this is thousands of people on a college campus. Just not believable. When Everly finds out about Abby and Seth, her reaction was WAY over the top. Her sister is technically old enough to make her own decisions, and it seemed like it was a little too late to start acting like a big sister. Also, it was none of her business what Seth was doing. She kept pushing and pushing when it didn't concern her. The end was sweet, and I will be looking for what comes next from this author.

Abby was always the book worm and her sister the adventurous one. When Everly talks Abby into going to a house party for the band “Cherry Lips” she decides to try to have fun.
Seth, the drummer for “Cherry Lips” was the funny one. The one who always tries to help everyone else and also Everly’s best-friend. When Abby and Seth see each other again the sparks fly. Seth is secretly taking a college course to get his English credit so he can get his high school diploma. Seth and Abby run into each other at the library and Abby offers to tutor Seth.
This book has all the angst of college life, dealing with rumors and lies and all about what family is whether you’re blood or just choose your family. I absolutely recommend this book.
