Once again Brittany has not disappointed, as always her witty sense of humor comes shining through in the book.
You get lots of lovable characters, lust, passion, heartbreak, forgiveness, love and WTF do I do moments, and then there's Hazel I love her to pieces.

Lexi is a strong willed independent woman, knows what she wants in life until Carter comes along he changes her future drastically then turns her world upside down.
Carter thinks he knows what he wants, but is it really what his hearts desires, and will make he the right moves?
Nate know what he wants and has is plans laid out in stone, but always there's no guarantees in life when it come to the heart.

Lexi has a big decision on her hands. What will she do when it comes to the crunch?

Will there be an HEA?
And who will get will end up with major regrets?

I enjoy this authors writing style very much. Amd this book was okay. It did take me a couple of trys to get through it, but it was worth it. It wasnt my favorite book but overall not too bad. The story wasn't fast paced and it didn't keep my interest.

I feel the story needed more. It won't be a re read.

This book deserves 10 or more stars!! I was hooked from the first page until the last I couldn't put it down until I was finished!! This book was EVERYTHING!! Favorite read this year and everyone needs to read it. The emotional rollercoaster the author took me on with this one was wow just wow. This book left me speechless. Love triangles are my fave books to read but this one was so different and so good. I didn't want it to end I kept flipping for more pages. Go get this book now.

Wow! Ms. Crowley really knows how to grab a reader from page one in this story!!

Fool Me Once is the story of Lex, Carter and Nate.  It spans years, and Ms. Crowley made the timeline flow effortlessly.

I honestly didn't know who to root for!  I loved all the characters in their own way and to have a decision on like Lex's on my shoulders, well I don't know what I would have done.

I love Lex, she is fierce, she is independent and is honest!  She doesn't hold back on saying what she needs to say and that's refreshing!  She makes the the most out of a difficult situation and does it with determination, grace and a great support system.

Carter and Max come in different parts of Lex's life but they both make a important impact on her.

The twist in the story is fantastic and it kept me turning pages until the end. You think you know what's about to happen and Ms. Crowley flips the script!!

This book was a fantastic read and I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!! Maybe a spin off of some of the characters of this story? Who knows, but I have a feeling it's gonna be just as great!

Brittany! I so love you for writing this story. While in the past you have graced us with your humor, in this book you graced us with the amount of depth of love and patience. It was a little different from what I am used to with you. Yet, I fell in love between every page. While I was disappointed with Carter, I never really hated him. Which means that you created his charachter with a fine tooth comb and allowed the readers to embrace him and love him without malice. The amount of devotion to this story was seen through the story so evenly and pure it created its own life quilt! Great job, girly! You got this one out of the park! No pun intended!

When Lexi meets Carter, it's with some blood and anger and maybe a few chosen words thrown in. However, Carter is persistent in his ways of caring for Lexi and showing her what intrigues him about her. They have a beautiful romance that takes a turn that neither expect. Yet, that one decision defines how Lexi views love and life after her encounter with Carter. Can she really learn to let someone else in after being hurt so badly? Can she trust another man with the pieces of her heart that are left? Time will tell and with a determined man behind the time invested in her, Lexi will see a whole new side to love she never knew existed. Yet, still she hesitates?

Loved this story to pieces, Brittany!

It took me a week to finish this book. I read many books and can finish a really good book in a day or two. Not this book. I am not sure how this book got so many 4s and 5s. Comments such as, "OMG! Amazing"; "Deserves a 10 or more"; and (my fav), "Book of the freaking year", made me chuckle, scratch my head, and have my own what the F moment. This book was juvenile. No feels. Did not feel or see chemistry at all. The author had Lexi tell us about it not show it so we could visualize it and feel it. Also, she fast forwarded both relationships months ahead without showing their development. No pregnancy time or dealing with single parenting was shown. Fast forward three years instead. Sex scene were weird. It was like Lexi was telling us about it. Maybe, Brittany should read some of the romance authors, such as, Colleen Hoover, Tijan, Brittainy Cherry,or Mia Sheridan. They give you all the feels and know how to really tell a story.

So this book drew me in as the cover alone is stunning... i had no clue what it was about as i didnt read the blurb.. and wow it did not disappoint one bit!
Brittany Crowley does it again giving us yet another fab read!
All i can say is emotions emotions emotions galore throughout this whole book.... it had me hooked pretty instantly and although i tried not to read it too quick i couldnt wait to see how the story played out.
Lexi finds herself falling in love with Carter but when an unexpected twist happens and they end up parting ways she struggles tl get over him.
Years later she meets Nate who decides he wants to be in her life.. he just needs to persuade her that she wants him too.
So what happens when Carter suddenly springs back up and feelings/emotions galore resurface?? Who gets the girl? Who will she decide on? Who steals hee heart?
All i will say is i was very very happy with how this worked out!
Loved every single word of this book!

Fool Me Once is a great story. It kept my interest, and I read it all at once. The characters were likeable. Lexie and Carter had a whirlwind romance, she fell in love, only for him to break her heart. Sometime goes by and Nate comes into the picture. He's been patient for Lexie to give him a chance, but she's not making it easy. I wasn't sure who I wanted to be Lexie's prince charming. They both had good qualities.
