King's Descendant's Book 2
Alarick ‘Flick’ has dealt with an array of things in his life. His father disappearing. His mother dying. Becoming the President of his club. His world isn’t always easy. It’s certainly not simple. But he knows how to handle it. There isn’t a single thing he can’t deal with…until now. Bodies are showing up on his doorstep. People are uncovering lie upon lie. Those he trusts are making him doubt. Danger is lurking every corner. He’s trapped between wanting to protect those he loves, and wanting to find out the truth. The woman he cares most about in the world is treading on dangerous grounds, and he can do nothing to stop her. If he doesn’t find a solution soon, more lives will end. The terror will continue. How the hell is he supposed to fix what’s broken, when he can’t even find the crack? How the hell is he supposed to protect his club, when everything he thought he knew is revealing itself to be a lie? Alarick knows one thing is for certain, whatever monster is out there… It hasn’t met him yet.

I couldn’t put this down! It had me on edge the entire book! It was action packed, full of violence/drama and had so many twists/turns you can hardly keep up. Also Briella got herself into so many dangerous situations that I didn’t know if she’d make it out alive. It’s like you’re watching a horror movie and you’re screaming at the heroine to stop but they do the unthinkable and fall right into the villain’s trap! I love this series and can’t wait for more!

I enjoyed this book. I am loving the storyline and am looking forward to the next one in the series.

I started reading book one about midnight it’s now 1 pm and I’ve read all of book one and two. I’m about to by book three because I need more. I crave more. It’s so good. The story line is well thought out. The characters are brilliant and are well rounded. You can feel apart of the story. Thank you Bella this book is a win!!

I loved the first book and was beyond excited to read this one. I love Bella’s writing style and completely and totally fell in love with Alarick and Briella’s love story, however I didn’t care for them in this book.

Bri lost some of her funny charm and smart decision making skills. I genuinely enjoyed her in the first book, laughing specifically when she threatened to tip over the potted plant, but in Flick, I lost her personality. She was irrational and either crying or yelling majority of the time. It felt like she was a sidekick to her own story, same with Alarick.

To read his POV was fantastic, truly, but I lost connection with him as well. I completely get that he has a club to run and sh*t went down but, in my opinion, he spent more time with the club than Bri. I wanted to see their love blossom but instead they were either yelling at each other or handling business (still badass) with the occasional sex scene. This just didn’t feel like their love story anymore, it just felt like a platform to introduce Mykel/Waverly and Zariah/Fredric.

I was a little disappointed but I will continue to read more from this author and of this series. Thank you for writing Alarick and Flick, you’re a wonderful author!

I am so in love with these characters and this storyline. The drama is addictive, pulling you along for the ride. Flick and Briella are incredible, strong characters. I love how their relationship unfolds. I can't wait for Mykel's book!

I really enjoyed this second book in this series. Was a little confusing with two names for the same person, but it eventually came around. Flick was such a manwhore as were many in the club, but it was part brother life style. Great storyline and some great characters. Recommend!

This is the second book in this series, and it was better than the first book which I loved. Ms. jewel has a breast way of building good story arch’s with a lot of twists and turns. Her series lead you from one story to the next and you can’t wait for the next book to come out. I would highly recommend this series of books.

Compared to the first book, this one time more secrets about the gang and the trafficking situation. It also shows the strength of the group and it's members. Can't wait to learn what happens with Mykel and Waverly.

Flick carries on where Alaric’s left of. More secrets are revealed and we do get some answers. I love the dynamic between flick and Bri and how she isn’t afraid to push for what she wants. I can’t wait for mykels’ story and hope we get to the bottom of where avianna is! A fantastic series so far!

1.0 out of 5 stars Erneut ein Cliffhanger!!!

Schade!

Lord happening in this story, tad hard to follow at times or went on for a bit too much.
Will continue to read this series as it has a good storyline you can see developing through each couple.
