This is my first read by this author and let me just say, I absolutely loved this book!!!

This story pulls you in from the get go. The first chapter introduces you to all the important characters i.e. The Gibson brothers - Walker, Lance, Machlan and their cousin Peck, and Sienna Landry and her friend/business partner Delaney. The setting is in the small town of Linton, Illinois.

Sienna is an amazing FMC. She’s strong, independent and wants to live her life her own way. She moves to Linton to escape her overwhelming life in Savannah, Georgia, and to get away from the limelight and cameras her family is constantly under; her father is a politician. She has four brothers (Graham, Barrett, Lincoln and Ford) and a twin sister Camilla that she loves and misses dearly.

Walker is a really great MMcharacter. He’s a gorgeous, quiet and very broody. He has also had a lot to deal with in his past (especially where women are concerned), so getting romantically involved with Sienna was a Big NoNo for him. But Sienna managers to sneaked up on him and before he knows it, he’s falling so fast, there’s no turning back.

This book is sweet and heartwarming, with a great and sexy storyline. It truly has some seriously loveable characters and you will absolutely fall in love with all the Gibson men.

If you’re looking for a small town blue collar romance novel to read that is really well written and very funny, then look no further because this book is for you!!!

Walker needs to sort his life out before he can move forward. I enjoyed this series and look forward to reading the rest of the Gibson brothers.

Every book I read of Adriana Locke’s becomes my new favourite. She manages to balance every emotion and make her reads electric. Her leading men are exceptional as she writes family and loyalty like no other and ‘Crank’ is fantastic and ticks all of those boxes.
It truly is “Southern royalty meets small town mechanic, 5 stars”. ‘Crank’ is the first book in the Gibson Boys series.

It all started with an accident and once Sienna locked eyes with the owner of the truck she just hit. Even though he certainly Is not the type of man that she would have dated in Savannah, with his scowl and cranky attitude he made her feel HOT. Something she never was even in the rooms of politicians and celebrities.

The next morning she realises she has to see him again in a few days at his auto repair shop. She can’t stop thinking about him and after seeing him again she still can’t read this man. This sexy as sin man who smells like grease and heartbreak. She was just drawing her to him...

Ultimately it was Sienna that made this book for me - she was AMAZING! The fixer with the biggest heart. She made me smile, especially at her confidence and the way she loved the Gibson boys and nana fiercely.
This book made me laugh, made me shed a few tears. Thanks Adriana for another amazing book!

Really enjoyable read. Loved that it included Sienna from the Landry family so read that series first. The Gibson boys and their Nana are great. Especially Peck he is a great friend to Sienna and Walker. Walker is your typical troubled broody guy but with a big heart. Sienna is a gorgeous, kind, generous smart girls who wants a life out of the limelight and she finds that with Walker in his endearing town. I would liked to have seen Walker and the Gibson’s meet the Landry family.

Good read. The Gibson boys are characters and I look forward to reading about the others.

I loved this!! I was so excited when I saw the news that we were getting Sienna’s story because hello? More Landry family! I was not disappointed.

Crank is so sweet, sexy and heartwarming! It really has everything you could want.

I loved how both of the characters met, it’s one of my favourite parts of the book! I really loved Walker, he was one of the broody male characters that we all love and he was perfect for Sienna. Sienna may come from a well-off family but she isn’t your stereotypical snobby brat. She is so down to earth and independent. This story isn’t an instant love, Walker makes you go back and forth for a while, he’s into it but then he isn’t. But this isn’t for any old reason, Locke has it all planned and gives you something that leaves you a little bit speechless.

As always with any Locke novel, the secondary characters are some amazing characters and not the type of characters you forget easily. You end up loving them like you love the main characters. I honestly can’t wait to see more of Walker’s family.

I enjoyed this book and I would highly recommend it!! The storyline, characters, and the relationship are amazing to read and drew me in!

Sienna Landry accidentally breaks Walker's truck headlight and they decide to have her work off the damage in his shop. the more time they spend together, the more sparks fly, even if he wants to pretend they don't. He is broody and sexy but keeps his guard up. She is fun, sassy, and determined to get to know him better. The banter between them and the other Gibson boys was hilarious. I loved all the brothers but their cousin Peck was top tier! And their Nana was the absolute best!! A fun read and a fun family series.

I liked the dynamic of this couple. Totally different backgrounds but it was a non-issue. I liked his family because they were interesting enough not to make me want to know more about hers. They were revealed just enough to get a sense of who they were and how they shaped who she is. If I had to find something to dislike, despite their antics, I don't care enough to want to ensure I read the next books in the series. This one was a fun read and I recommend it, you might feel differently and be curious enough to read the others in the series. ...I don't want to post this on Amazon because I want no part of influencing someone to skip it and miss out if they allow my thoughts to lead their decisions. I like this author and who knows, I might change my mind once I read the summary of what's coming next...stranger things have happened.

I loved that Walker was a man i could so easily identify with, not a billionaire, not a mobster, just a man, an everyday man with life’s scars and heartaches. The chemistry between Walker and Sienna was hotter than hades, and you will definitely need a fan to cool down !!! You are gonna need a fan anyhow because all these brother’s are HOT!! This love between Sienna and Walker had my heart fit to burst with joy, and i could see their perfect ending in front of me. Then, thank you Adriana !! My heart was burst and the tears flowed !! How could they come back from this? Well ya gotta read it, because believe me those Walker boys will not give up on getting what is theirs !!! Adriana Locke has set a whole new standard with Crank. This book has definitely jumped way into my tops of this year and my tops of books by Adriana Locke. Need more Gibson boys now !!!!

This is one of Adriana Locke’s older books and a bit less light-hearted. The Gibson Boys series is very promising if this book one sets the tone.

I wish the reasons for Walker’s not telling Sienna his truth were more a little more fleshed out and I feel Sienna’s reaction was a bit over the top, but I loved their attraction — and off course, the HEA.

A solid read and though I stayed up way late to finish, it’s worth the lack of sleep!
