This book had a different type of storyline than what I'm used to. Taylor and Kellan had hooked up once when they were both in college. It's now a few years later when they see each other again under very tragic circumstances. Taylor is embarrassed to have Kellan see her the way she is now. Kellan can't get Taylor out of his head so when she shows up after hitting rock bottom, he can't turn her away. They grow closer together but Kellan doesn't feel right wanting to start something up with her. He doesn't want her to feel like he is trying to take advantage of her situation. Taylor feels like he doesn't want her because of her situation. Meanwhile, her past comes back with a vengeance and innocent people get hurt. I liked how their relationship developed without having to jump into bed right away. It allows the chemistry between them to slowly build until they come to a turning point.

Taylor appeared to be living the perfect life as she came from a privileged background that included both wealth and social standing until her life came crashing down around her. She now exists on the opposite of the spectrum where the people who were her friends wants nothing to do with her, all she has is a car which she considers her home and people from her past are tracking her down and they don’t care who gets hurt in the process.

Kellan had a reputation for too much fun in the past but he has turned his life around. Clash is book four in the spin-off series of Gentry Generations and is the story of Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs.

Taylor Briggs was a popular girl with money and a silver spoon back in the day. However her life has taken a turn for the worse and she is now finding out how tough life can really be.

Kellan Gentry is a party boy as well as a huge flirt. He wants something different in his life, a new direction perhaps.

Both of their lives change when Taylor literally falls into Kellan’s arms. I enjoyed the way Kellan and Taylor’s relationship progressed and that they are both willing to fight for one another.

This story was one heck of a roller coaster, but sadly – I didn’t think the story was that great until I was at 50% of the book. Don’t get me wrong, we readers do need some background and setting of the story, but damn that was a long 50% in. I’m glad I powered through this story as I love the Gentry’s and really was hoping for a HEA.

Thomas…..well my heart just hearts for him.

This is my fave storyline yet of Generations! Oh my god i lurrrved it!

Kellan is a party boy. Popular and handsome he's never short of a bed partner. He's just watched his big brother fall in love and is now living with his younger brother. His life is pretty good!

Taylor is coming to the end of her rope. Her family are making it pretty hard for her. Her sister, brother in law and brother are all harrassing her constantly after her fathers death. Shes now homeless, penniless, hungry and alone.

While having a meal with his father Kellan spots a past conquest. He never forgot her. Stunningly beautiful she stands out in the crowd. He hadn't seen her since the morning after but when she collapses he comes to her rescue. Will Taylor let him save her?

Wow! Absolutely loved it! The build up in this book is truly brilliant. From bed partners to friends to lovers you are seriously not going to want to miss out on this ride!

It was a done deal i would fall for Kellan. Those Gentry boys don't mess about when it comes to claiming the book boyfriend spot! Kind, sensitive, gorgeous, hot, funny he has it all. Watching him fall for Taylor was a real treat.

I loved Taylor for him. She got him. She had the same sense of humour and they just clicked. He was her knight, her hero and i loved that after a while she accepted that. Her inner thoughts about herself from the past endeared her to me even more. She went on such a journey after the death of her father. From pampered princess to down to earth girl who recognised all her flaws and did something about them. She really has become someone special.

The tension in the build up between them was electric! There were times i shook my kindle declaring "What is wrong with you! Take her! Take her now!" But nooooo lol ever the gentleman Kellan held back.

Once they FINALLLLLLLY got it on... ohhhhhh yeah!! Lol H.O.T.

I just loved seeing the family in here too. If you're a fan of original series then you will love it too. Especially little bro Thomas. I loved his friendship with Taylor and i think his story is gonna be pretty special he's just adorable! And well, after the wall banging i think young Thomas is allll grown up and ready for us!

Brilliant as always you just can't go wrong with this series. The writing is excellent, the plot engaging, the characters are loveable, theres humour and passion, fear and excitement, its just action packed and glorious! This is why Cora Brent is, and always will be a fave author of mine. Auto oneclick every time! I know, KNOW that every single box in my reading requirements of a great book are gonna be ticked.

Our lead Kellan, was such a great male lead, genuinely a good guy. His protective instincts with Taylor were swoon worthy.

Taylor had it all, then it was suddenly gone in an instant. Now she’s a shadow of her former self, homeless, no family and constantly looking over her shoulder.

Meeting Kellan again changes all that. Life is starting to look promising.

But when her past comes back to haunt her the people she loves are going to be in the crossfire.

I was pulled into this book right from the get go, staying there until I had read every single word that was written. I also had the story playing along in my mind like a mini movie. I love it when that happens.
There are surprises throughout the story, some of them you may see coming, while others you won't. Some of them are large and others are small, but each and everyone of them is equally as important as the next, in regards to making this one hell of a red.
Emotions from each and every character can be felt, I actually went through them along with the characters.
Cora Brent has away of making me feel as If I am in the book, watching everything that is happening and I have to admit I wouldn't have it any other way.
