Can’t Fight It is book 3 in the Fair Lakes series and can be read as a standalone, but to get the whole story I would highly recommend reading from book 1.

After reading books 1 & 2 I was hooked on this series, easy to read and great romances; when I finished Just Getting Started I was desperate for Colton’s story, I have my fingers and toes crossed that Colton is going to get his own book! Was my exact quote from my previous review.

Colton has been thrown into the deep end, giving up his life in the military to become a single Dad; he wouldn’t have it any other way. When his new tenant shows up the door and changes everything, he starts to wonder how they will survive with out her. Hollis is hiding her own secrets and will those secrets put Colton and Milo in danger?

This story was everything I wanted it to be, thank you Ryan & Black!!

I have been dying to get my hands on this story since discovering Colton and everything that happened within the second book in this series. Ryan and Black did not disappoint with his story. It was so romantic and sweet but also alpha with an interesting twist that has an unexpected ending. Honestly, I was surprised with how things played out in the long run.
Colton, being thrown into daddy mode, is doing the best he can. He is definitely the hot dad. And the roommate is unexpected because Hollis was not what he thought. I giggled at moments, I swooned and I wanted to cry with them as their passion for each other is so intense but what Hollis is hiding could potentially destroy it all. As the story flows, you honestly cannot put it down. I devoured it in one sitting. It was just that good.
Overall, if you haven’t read the first two books, I recommend it because they are interconnected and will give you the bigger picture of this series. This installment was utterly perfect and I loved every moment of it. I adore stories of love when you least expect it!

I don't WANT to fight all the FEELS that this book, Can't Fight It (Book 3 in the Fair Lakes series), gave me!!! Kaylee Ryan and Lacey Black, "The Dynamic Duo" of romance, has done it yet again! I have to say that Colt and Hollis's sweet and SEXY slow-burn romance did it for me and it's my favourite book in the series, hands down!

Colt gives up his military career when he discovers he's Milo's dad. Be still my crazily-beating heart!!! A sexy-as-all-get-out single dad, determined to be the best father he can be to a sweet little baby??!! YES, PLEASE!!! So, when Hollis arrives at his door, saying SHE'S the one he accepted as a tenant in his in-law suite, he can't very well tell her she can't move in because he thought SHE was a HE!!! The chemistry between them is OFF-THE-CHARTS HOT!!! Mix in that adorable little Milo and my heart was GONE!

I loved everything about this book! You CAN read it as a standalone but I highly recommend reading these books in order, to get the FULL scope of the immense talent of these two amazing authors!!! Once you start reading, you'll be just as addicted as I am. Well done, ladies!

Can't Fight It is the third book in Fair Lakes Series. I thought the story was cute, full of feeling, and easy to read. Colton is so swoon worthy, single dad, alpha man, and protector. When Hollis comes into the picture the sparks start flying between these two. I liked that they took their time becoming friends before more. Hollis is starting over in a new town, she's beautiful, and has her own design business. I liked that past characters were in the story too. I've enjoyed this writing duos stories, and I hope we will get many more from them.
