Bossy Brothers: Jesse Kindle Edition
Emma is super pretty, super smart, and super rich. So WHY is she kidnapping the billionaire she just bought in the bachelor auction?
Thirteen years before Emma Dumas bought me in a bachelor auction to teach me a lesson she stole my heart down on Key West. I fell so hard for this girl I made all the promises. Only with Emma, I really meant them.
And then I disappeared.
But it wasn’t my fault. Let’s just call my reason “Family Business”. I’d tell you what that business is, but then I’d have to kill you. Just kidding. I can’t tell you what my family business is because it’s so secret, even I don’t know.
My point is… I didn’t ghost. It was a weird twist of circumstances. And OK, yes. I did hook up with pretty much every girl on the island that week. But after I met Emma, I was ruined. She’s the only one I wanted.
It’s been thirteen years. I’m a changed man. I STILL want her. I have ALWAYS wanted her.
But it’s kind of hard to tell her that with a gag in my mouth and a hood over my head.
Bossy Brothers: Jesse features a bachelor auction gone wrong, four smart ladies who botch a crazy revenge kidnapping, a fancy power dream date with fast cars, private jets, and expensive yachts, lots of ex-sex, and a happily ever after that proves… sometimes the best man for the job is a woman.

OK, what an absolute amazing start to the bossy Brothers series. Emma and Jesse are just adorable and their journey was one where I had to put the book down on a number of occasions because hey JA Huss wrote this book and stuff gets twistie when shes in charge but she never let's me down, I just needed a breather and got right back to it, like all amazing books.
I'm most definitely left wanting more, no needing more and I love that. I can't wait to discover Joey and more of The WAY. I'm not sure I'm going to love him as much as I do Jesse though. We will see.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
Great way to setup the series 🤩
Love all the characters, and no pressure 🤣🤣 I need to read Emma's brothers books too! Get writing 🪄🔮🪄🙏🏻 please Ms Huss
Baby Boston Jesse was just the right mix of arrogant and caring. And hot, naturally. Emma was independent and self sufficient and a numbers girl. Loved her! Their chemistry was off the charts. Love, love, loved this book. Thank you Julie :)
I loved cocky Jesse, and Emma was just his match. She was great. ( hell have no fury like a woman scorned)
Jesse certainly comes from a strange family and I still do not know what they do exactly, but who cares, this sis about Jesse and Emma, and may the richest one win!
(Or both concede and enjoy the riches)
thank you J A Huss
But he turns out to be a really nice guy and the weirdness of his family is intriguing.
This may be Jesse’s story by title, but Emma takes the lead in every way. She is a force that even four alpha males cannot stop, and Jesse is there every step of the way.
Huss has the ability to refine her characters so completely that you know from line one that these complex people are more than they appear. Often broken or angry in some way, they find more of themselves through each other, and the process for us readers is often hilarious and heartbreaking, deep and loving.
Nothing about this world is shallow, it’s well crafted and full of interesting people. But, it’s only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

When they were teenagers, Jesse Boston and Emma Dumas met in Key West. Jesse was a troubled young lad, chasing after the ladies whilst constantly drunk and high. She wasn't the only one that Jesse had a one-night stand with before walking away silently, as he was a player. Emma formed a group with three other women when Jesse left them the same weekend, and they went on to become the most successful multimillion-dollar makeup designers. Jesse inherited family wealth. He was the youngest of the Boston brothers and was frequently featured on the front of tabloids for various reasons. Emma has always maintained tabs on Jesse's plans for retaliation against her for treating her so poorly. 13 years later these women turned into kickass self made rich women with a revenge plan. . The player gets played, drugged and kidnapped. To teach Jesse a lesson he’ll never forget!!
After the retribution is served, Jesse insists on going on a date with Emma. She was never merely a badge of honour for him. Every detail of that summer is still fresh in his mind, and he intends to demonstrate to her what she has been missing since he last saw her.
This book was so easy to jump into. I was engaged with the characters from the start; no need to figure them out to warm up to them. Emma Dumas and her girl tribe are great! The girls met thirteen years ago and bonded over their spring-break one-night stands. These girls have each other’s backs no matter what the circumstance! Emma is the self-described normal/average one, but she comes off as anything but average. She’s pretty, smart, and bossy. However, her bossiness stems from self-preservation rather than a character flaw.
Jesse Boston, the billionaire who broke her heart thirteen years ago, is completely misunderstood. Yes, he played the rich party boy for much of his young adult life, but then he started flying under the radar…at least as much as his notoriety would allow. This good-looking guy with a great sense of humor and a sexy smirk cannot catch any breaks--especially in the public eye as he is commonly considered a spoiled, rich jerk.
While it is hard to imagine that a woman—let alone four women—could hang onto the hurt from an obvious spring break one-night stand, the plot premise was fun. I LOVED the chemistry between Emma and Jesse. The banter is charming and fun. Their attempts to one-up each other are ridiculous, which makes for over-the-top fun. I adored Emma’s family and the scene they were in.
Jesse’s family is a different ball game entirely. Readers are introduced to these characters, but their development is superficial (undoubtedly saved for future installments in this series). It is Jesse’s family that provides the twists and mystery. As Emma encounters the rest of the Boston family, readers are given a taste the wild ride they’re in for throughout this series to its eventual denouement.
Jesse Boston has met his match in Emma Dumas, and it is certain that she can out boss that “bossy brother”. From sweet to sexy and comical to crazy conspiracy, Bossy Brothers: Jesse is a page-turner. It’s an incredibly engaging story that left me intrigued or laughing with each unexpected turn.
When it started it gave off major John Tucker must die vibes and damn that’s one of my favourite movies and have been wanting more storylines like that.
4 scorned women
1 man
1 plan to dish up some revenge.
They say to never mess with a woman scorned and Jesse is about to find out why. An Auction ends up with Jesse being in the company of an ex that he can’t remember and that ex planning a kidnap and revenge but will she be able to follow through with it?
Emma even after all these years still feels hurt and betrayed by Jesse, so when she hears about the auction and Jesse being involved she hatched up a plan but things aren’t what they seem with Jesse and she soon begins to realise.
Jesse was a troubled young lad, chasing after the ladies whilst constantly drunk and high. He’s made mistakes and after an incident he decides to clean himself up but little does he know that his past is about to catch up with him.
Watching this story unravel was so much fun. They had me laughing and fanning myself within seconds of each other. I absolutely adored watching them overcome everything.
Meeting her family was something else. They’re so wild and funny. His family are insane and intriguing and all I want to do is find out more about them so I can’t wait to get stuck into their stories
JA Huss did an amazing job with Jesse and Emma’s story, I can’t wait for more!

It's all there in abundance. When I first started the book, I wasn't sure which direction the story was going to go in. I will be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it, because of the constant bickering between Jesse and Emma. Then it all changed. The story started taking shape. The characters settled and the past was no longer an issue. Then the mystery that will run throughout the series was introduced and BOOM I was up all night absorbing every word!
I am looking forward to getting to know each of Jesse and Emma's brothers.
